What is breast cancer?

Why is the focus on breast cancer?

What are the methods of primary prevention?

In general

• Avoidance of alcohol. In fact, figures have shown that avoiding alcohol can prevent nearly 8% of cancers (all cancers combined).
• Avoidance of TOBACCO. Tobacco is also a risk factor because with all the toxic substances it contains, it is involved in almost all cancers.

Can you cure cancer?

Yes, you can fight cancer by having early detection and correct treatment. But be careful, it can recur at any time. This is why in oncology we talk about remission and not cure. The remission has no fixed duration and can vary from one person to another.
