On Tuesday July 11, the NGO Les Potagers Bio Ecoliers du Monde launched its “Gardening Workshop” holiday camp, which is in its second edition.

Scheduled to start on July 15, this camp finally started earlier. Explanations from Désiré Saphou, president of the initiating NGO:

“We were contacted by families who asked us to take Etienne, Sidarta, Romaric and Michel. In fact, these four young people, having heard from their friends about last year's camp, asked their parents to enroll them this year to, they said, "learn to plant tomatoes". And since they were ready to attack, we started with them”.

As soon as they arrived, the four “future entrepreneurs of tomorrow who will get us out of dear life”, as the trainer presents them, put on their boots and got to work.

For a month, they will learn how to make a seedbed, maintain a nursery, maintain a plant until flowering without chemical fertilizers or even effectively fight pests biologically. They will, of course, know the different types of vegetables.

Now open, the holiday camp awaits all holidaymakers of both sexes wishing to learn about organic farming.
